was love at first sight.

I opened up my shop around a month or two later.

Because I wanted to meet other people who share the same interests as me! Also, because Etsy
Tea Party is the best!

Baby Blue in that order... pretty much all pastel colors have my heart!
How did you choose your shop's name?
I combined two of my favorite things: Lace & Dolls and came up with Laceybabydoll. I imagined that the girls that would wear my goodies would be very girly and doll like and wear lace and pretty jewels and accessories to get all dolled up so I felt the name fit.
What is your favorite item that you have listed in your shop and why (add URL)?
Probably my Pretty Pink Dollhouse Pin http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23932299 because I had the idea in my head for a month or so and really wanted to create the pin! When I finally gathered up all of the supplies I needed to make the dollhouse, the pin turned out just as I had imagined. I always think it's so much fun and it's so neat to be able to create something exactly as you had imagined it to be in your dreams. Not to mention, I have a slight obsession with dolls and dollhouses. It also has most of my favorite things including pink, bows, lace, charms, etc. However, all of the items I list in my shop are something that I would wear myself!

Do you have any other hobbies besides crafting/creating gorgeous handmade things for Etsy?
While my mind is always thinking of pretty things to create, I do count shopping as a hobby of mine. I'm a shopoholic and I take it very seriously! I also like to collect vintage things, like charms and vintage Strawberry Shortcake Dolls. I'm also into decorating, going for walks in the woods and being with friends and family!
Do you have any pets?
Yes! My family has two dogs, Emma and Cookie. Three cats, Tevy, Cinnamon and Adia. We also have a fish named Coral which actually belongs to one of my best friends and I. In my room, I have what I like to call a mini zoo. I have the cutest guinea pig named Pandy ( Her middle name is Bear). Since I can't have an actual Panda Bear, she is my replacement. I have a mouse too named Lovey, but I always end up calling her mousey. I wish I could have a bunny except my mom is allergic *sniffle sniffle*
What is your most cherished possession and why?
I have lots! A bible that my Grandma gave me that was her wedding bible. It's covered in pearls--faux pearls of course-- and has her pretty white lace wedding gloves inside as well. I felt very honored that she picked me to give these special items to. Also, I have a pretty crocheted blanket with adoreable teddy bears that have pastel bows on that I found at Goodwill that I love to pieces. It always keeps me warm on cold days and when I'm sick and it's just so cute! I also am very attached to a stuffed dog named Roscoe that my very special best friend gave to me. This list could go on and on, but I'll stop now in case I bore anyone.

Tell us about your family members.
I have a very sweet mother who I love very much. Also, my dad lives with us. I have one older sister and she has a daughter named Lily who I love dearly. Lily means so much to me and she's such a sweet little girl! I spend as much time with my family as I can. I also have wonderful grandparents that I think the world of! They are always there for me no matter what.
If you were stranded on an island and could only bring three things, what would they be?
I would bring my canopy bed because I have a hard time sleeping anywhere else. I'd also bring a mall that had a never ending supply of food/goodies. The last thing I would bring would be a friend so I wouldn't get lonely!
What things inspire you to craft/create?
I'm very inspired by fairytales and things that I loved--and still love--from my childhood. I guess you could say that I'm still pretty much a kid at heart. I'm also inspired by Sweet Lolita fashions. Pretty much anything that can make me smile inspires me!
What advice do you have for fledgling Etsy sellers?
To always follow your heart and to never give up on your dreams!
